Dr Lisa Chen will present ‘Data Quality and Analytics Initiatives - a journey towards better asset management’ at the GE Asia Pacific Summit, on 28 July 2016.
A highly qualified data scientist, Lisa provides thought leadership and solution development direction at Harmonic Analytics. Lisa has led projects in energy and utilities, agriculture, aviation, construction, government, health and telecommunications. A key focus for Lisa and her team in the energy sector is asset analytics for clients including: Transpower and AEMO, as well as lines companies WEL, Powerco and Unison. To address business challenges Lisa's team use a variety of advanced statistical methods, machine learning and operations research (OR). This requires significant experience in handling data-sets of varying quality and size, including transformer asset data, alarm logs and smart meter data.
